Everyone at Chilton, wishes you all a very happy Christmas and a fantastic new year. We hope you all get time to rest, recharge and enjoy the festivities. We look forward to seeing you back on 6th January as we kick off a brand new term together
What a treat for the end of term! The whole school are enjoying the Booster Cushion Theatre's performance of Alan in Wonderland and the Three Goats Plus. There's been lots of laughter, excitement and plenty of smiles all round. A wonderful way to round off the term before the Christmas holidays begin!
The whole school joined together at the Salvation Army, filling the room with festive songs and joy. We also listened to the story of Jesus, reminding us of the true meaning of Christmas. A big thank you to the Salvation Army team for welcoming us and making it such a special occasion.
The children's faces lit up with excitement as they were greeted by the big man himself. What made it even more magical was hearing all the wonderful questions from the children curious minds eager to know more, share their thoughts and connect with Father Christmas. Their enthusiasm filled every corner of the school and reminded us how special these moments truly are.
Huge well done to our wonderful choir group who sang at the CET Christmas Concert at the Corn Exchange a couple of weeks ago! We may have been a small group, but you performed beautifully and did us all proud. Your voices brought so much joy and festive spirit, thank you for representing us so well!
A huge well done to our wonderful choir and Year 4 class! You all shone so brightly in your performance at the Christmas Tree Festival last night. The festive spirit was felt by everyone who came along.
Christmas Tree Festival Performance – Tonight! Come and join us this evening at St Peter and St Mary's Parish Church for our festive performance as part of the Christmas Tree Festival. It's the perfect way to celebrate the season with music, lights and community spirit. All are welcome – we'd love to see you there!
We are absolutely amazed by the incredible talent of one of our Year 4 students! They've been working so hard on a fantastic piece of artwork and the result has truly blown us away.
Year 2 have been hard at work in DT, creating their very own 'jam jar' salads in a cup! Using pasta, couscous and a rainbow of fresh vegetables, they've been practising a variety of cutting techniques and exploring vibrant colours and flavours. The classroom is bursting with delicious aromas and the children can't wait to tuck into their healthy, homemade creations. What a tasty way to learnYum!
Our School Council have been busy again! At the end of the school day, they've been handing out friendly parking reminder slips to parents and carers. The aim? To help promote safety for everyone around our school gates.
School Council rolled up their sleeves and headed out for a community litter pick! Doing our bit to keep the local area clean and welcoming, we were amazed at what we found! Every little action makes a big difference and we're proud to play our part in looking after our environment.
