IQM Inclusive School Award
Chilton Community Primary School Celebrates National Recognition for Inclusion
I am absolutely delighted to share that Chilton Community Primary School has been awarded the Inclusion Quality Mark (IQM) Inclusive School Award Centre of Excellence, following a recent assessment visit. This achievement is a recognition of the caring, inclusive and nurturing community that we have built together. The assessor described Chilton as "a truly wonderful school" where children are "loved, known and celebrated", and highlighted the strong relationships, high aspirations and deep sense of belonging that can be felt throughout our school.
What makes me most proud is that this award reflects the everyday experiences of our children and families. During the visit, pupils spoke warmly about their school, describing it as safe, kind and fun, while parents praised the genuine warmth, open communication and support they receive from staff. The report recognised many of the things that make Chilton special, including our commitment to inclusion, our exciting curriculum, the wide range of opportunities available to pupils and the dedication of staff who go above and beyond to ensure every child can succeed.
Inclusion is at the heart of everything we do at Chilton and we firmly believe that every child deserves to feel valued, respected and able to achieve their full potential. We are incredibly proud that this has been recognised through the Inclusion Quality Mark and look forward to continuing to build on this success in the years ahead.
