Admissions to other year groups
Applications made during the school year are known as In-Year Admissions and apply to children in Years 1 to 6, as well as Reception from the Spring Term onwards.
We currently have places available across all year groups, from Reception through to Year 6. As a small and friendly school, we pride ourselves on creating a caring environment where every child is known as an individual and encouraged to thrive both academically and personally.
We warmly welcome families to come and visit us. Our personalised tours give you the opportunity to meet our staff and children, see learning in action and get a real feel for life at Chilton Primary School. We'd be delighted to show you around and answer any questions you may have.
The Admissions Arrangements and In-Year Admissions Application Form can be downloaded below. Completed application forms should be returned to the school by email or post. We will then contact you directly with the outcome of your application.
To arrange a visit or find out more about joining our school, please contact the school office. We look forward to welcoming you and your family to Chilton Primary School.
appeals
If your application to either of the routes above is unsuccessful, you have the right appeal against the decision to refuse your child a school place. Admission appeals are the responsibility of the Children’s Endeavour Trust, and an application for appeal can be made by completing the Appeals From below. An appeal will give you the opportunity to outline your case for admitting your child to school. You will be informed of the outcome of any appeal by the Children’s Endeavour Trust.
