Reception are having a brilliant time todaypractising their pencil skills and exploring colours in all sorts of fun ways. Children enjoyed sorting objects into colour groups and took great pride in beginning to write their names. It's lovely to see their confidence growing already as they settle into their learning journey.

Year 5 are diving into their first trombone lesson of the year this morning! Today was all about big brass energy as pupils met their music teacher, got hands-on with their instruments and began exploring the sounds they'll be mastering this term. It's the start of an exciting musical journey that promises plenty of proud moments ahead. We can't wait to see their skills grow!

Family Friday Fun! Last week marked our very first Family Friday of the year and what a brilliant start it was. Our Year 6 children welcomed their parents and carers into school for a special lunchtime visit and the turnout was absolutely fantastic. It was a wonderful opportunity for families to see their children in action, share a meal together and soak up the vibrant atmosphere of school life. The smiles, laughter and joy was everywhere.

Welcome Back to School! We're thrilled to have everyone back after the summer breakand what a fantastic start it's been! Our first week was busy with everyone full of energy, smiles and excitement to get settled back in to the swing of things! The new mud kitchen has been brilliant the children have absolutely loved getting stuck in, whipping up mud pies and lots of other imaginative creations Your kindness and handy work have made a real difference. A Fond Farewell to Mrs Bird After an incredible 33 years of dedicated service, we say a heartfelt goodbye to the wonderful Mrs Bird, who is retiring from our school community. Mrs Bird has been more than just a member of staff - she has been a constant source of warmth, wisdom and kindness. Over the decades, she has touched the lives of countless children, families and colleagues with her unwavering commitment, gentle encouragement and infectious smile. We will miss her deeply, but we are so grateful for the time we've had. Thank you, Mrs Bird, for everything.
