This will be my last email of the school year. I hope you all have a brilliant 6 weeks break and well done for all the learning you've done from home since March! 
 
I have attached the SPaG powerpoint for tomorrow. You will be looking at two new year 3/4 words. 
 
For your maths starter you will be playing 'fruit splat subtraction'.

In maths tomorrow, you will be doing your next mymaths task. This task is called 'Introducing column addition'. If you cannot access mymaths, please email me and I will send you your personal logins. 
 
For the maths starter, you will be playing a number bonds to 20 game.
 
In English, you will be finding key features.

I have attached the SPaG powerpoint for tomorrow, which contains the new year 3 and 4 words for you to practise. 
 
Just a reminder that the rest of the maths learning for the week will be on mymaths. I have attached the link below. To access the learning, first you will have to log in using the school's username and password:

Then, you will need to log in to your portal by using your unique username and log in. These were sent to parents and carers in an email mid June. If you have difficulty finding this, please let me know as I am able to find and send your username and password to you. 
 
Once you have done this, please complete the learning 'Introducing written methods'. The exciting part about mymaths is that I will be able to see when you have completed the learning! 
 
 
English tomorrow you will be identifying the features of a story. 
 
In the maths starter activity you will be looking at addition and subtraction fact families.

In the maths starter, you will play 'hit the button' again, practising your timestables. 
 
In maths, you will be continuing with the oak academy learning. You will be multiplying a two digit number by a one digit number using partitioning.

Good evening year 3 families, 
 
I hope you have all had lovely, sunny weekends. I would like to remind you all that this week is the last week of learning as it will be the summer holidays. 
 
This week in maths, you will be using oak academy and mymaths. I have spoken with Mrs Webb and Mrs Bird and they have informed me of extra revision you will benefit from this week. So you will be looking at multiplying a two digit number to a one digit number and column addition and subtraction. In SPaG, you will be looking at year 3/4 words. In English, you will be working towards your own composition again. 
 
I have attached the timetable for this week and the SPaG powerpoint for tomorrow. The rest of the learning for the day is all website based.
