Thursday 2nd April
Please see email for your Easter message.
Attached below is the Easter comprehension from Twinkl that I listed on this weeks timetable. The Let's get growing is in your Reading comprehension book, so you can choose which one you would prefer to do.
Maths for Thursday is from your arithmetic booklet, so I hope you enjoy doing that for a change. We will finish the measurement work off after Ester.
Good morning everyone, April is here! Can you believe it?
Here are the activities for tomorrow, Easter holidays start on Friday so this will be the last two days of Maths and English lessons. Mrs Webb and I are going to upload some fun Easter activities for you to do so look out for them on here soon.
How are you getting on with your reading? Are you ready to take a quiz yet? I wonder who will be at the top of the leader board this week, will there be anyone from our class? Try to make time for reading, just 15 minutes a day will certainly benefit you in so many ways. (see below the picture on reading by Dr Seuss!) I know I haven't mentioned TT rockstars yet, but our class have also had lots of success with this too.
Have a good day.
Hi to the families of Year 3
Hope you got on well with your length work in maths. I know its not easy converting the units in measure.
Did you get on well with the challenge to find as many homophones as you can? I hope you found 300!! That was your target.
Today I have attached the Power maths slides and Homophones slide. In addition I attached a Powerpoint slide to explain how to multiply and divide by 10, which I hope helps you with the converting of units.
Thank you again,
Hi Year 3
Open up the document below and you will see my letter to you.
Hope you are up bright and early ready for your Joe Wicks P.E lesson and warm up. Have a good day and here's hoping you enjoy the homophone challenge!
These are the spellings children need to learn in Year 3 and 4
