Reception Learning Together - Medicines (Health & Well-being)

21st May 2015

As part of this term’s work in Personal and Social and Emotional development, parents/carers came into Koala Class to help the children learn more about the dangers of medicines. Koala class had 3 activities:

1. Sorting out medicines for adults and children and talking about how the children should not take them unless a grown up is with them.

2. Looking at a range of pictures and talking about how the bear is feeling? Where is he hurt? How did the children know?

3. Looking at things the children might see in the bathroom. They talked about how they would use them. What would you put in your mouth? What the children shouldn’t touch.
