Olympic Handball Player visits KS2 Children

8th June 2015

On Monday we had a special visitor come into school this week to speak to the KS2 children - Louise Jukes; a GB Olympic handball player.

Louise talked about her career path and choices she had made. She talked about the commitment she had made in order to take part in the Olympics. The Children were able to reflect on the commitment they make in their lives now; the skills they use and the choices they make.

To finish off the afternoon, Louise took each KS2 class outside for a taster handball session, where the children learned some of the skills and the ability to work as a team.
