STEM Ambassadors

16th October 2017

Chilton Community Primary School are pleased to have been awarded a certificate to recognise their work with STEM Ambassadors.  Since gaining the Primary Science Quality Mark Silver Award, the children have had many exciting visitors such as Anglian Water and Natwest.  A highlight was the priceless NASA moon samples that Miss Yaroslaw managed to secure for the school.  The children were inspired by the samples to learn more about space.  Year 5 enjoyed their second annual trip to the Science Fair at County Upper School.  The children learnt about how DNA samples can be used to date objects, whilst also inventing their own drinks, using static machines as well as many other exciting hands-on activities and of course, getting lots of freebies.
