KS2 Production - Joseph's Coat of Many Colours

27th March 2015
This week, parents, grandparents and friends alike were all treated to a performance of Joseph’s Coat of Many Colours by Key stage 2.
The children have all enjoyed learning about Egypt past and present. They were amazed at how different life was seven thousand years ago. The mummification of the rich and the magnificent pyramids that contained the tombs were of particular interest to them.
In R.E we have studied the story of Joseph and his amazing coat of many colours described in the book of Genesis chapter 37. The performance of this story was enjoyed by everyone. In total there were 35 year 4 and 5 actors and a strong choir of 30 year 3’s. All the children sang their hearts out, especially to the song Plague and Pestilence, as well as entertaining us with dancing.
We are immensely proud of the children for their dedication to learning their lines and their ability to speak clearly and perform on stage. There are some budding actors amongst us!
