Governors support the Headteacher, staff, children and parents. They ensure that our school provides a safe, caring and stimulating learning environment that challenges the children.

They endorse the strong team work and whole school approach to learning which enables all children to achieve their best within the curriculum and gain confidence in their personal and social independence.

Governors have the overall responsibility for legal and financial matters, policies, appointments and monitoring achievement.

Currently we have a Governing Body of 8 members, comprised of a range of people. Between them the aim is to bring a range of both skills and experience to the governing body, which will ensure that balanced and carefully considered decisions are made. Please see the information below for more details of Chilton Primary School Governors.
